Not quite "Open all hours" but if there is business to be done they will be there. It is however advised that you don't carry large sums of money around while in Uganda.
You can travel with your credit card and withdraw money from either Entebbe or Kampala that will help you while on the trip. I understand that Entebbe or Kampala is much more convenient as far as foreign exchange, however, I wont be travelling in that part of the country. And what worries me most is that I will enter Uganda from Cyanika border sometime on a Saturday, thats why I was asking if forex bureaus are open on weekends. If entering via Cyanika you will find ForEx in Kisoro. Where are you spending Saturday evening? I will be passing through Kisoro sometime on Saturday.
I will have rental car so I can stop anytime, if I find a forex place open that is.
